River Legacy Foundation’s

Explore River Legacy Foundation's wonder-full learning opportunities first-hand at a free Open House from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, February 25 at River Legacy Living Science Center, 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd. in Arlington.

Current families can come to share in their children's special world, while interested families can get a sneak peek at Nature School fun. Guests will get to meet the teachers, visit the classrooms, participate in art and classroom activities, and observe live animal explorations.

This unique preschool enrichment program gives children ages 3 to 6 a natural place to learn, play and grow where lessons venture out the door and into nature. Nature School provides small, enriching classroom environments, engaging live animals, nature walks, story times, art and dramatic play. Half day and extended day options are available, with a new two-day-a-week program on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3-year-olds. An engaging and advanced curriculum for children ages 5 to 6 is held on Fridays and is a great supplement to Mother's Day Out, alternative kindergarten programs, and home school.

Open enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year begins Monday, February 20. Classes meet for 30 weeks from September through May. For more information about Nature School, please contact Education Director Debbie Vernon at 817.860.6752, ext. 105 or visit www.riverlegacy.org.

Information about River Legacy's Summer Classes, After-School Clubs, Home School Programs and Scout Programs will also be available at Open House. Registration for those programs also begins Monday, February 20.
