Arlington Eats: Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine at Thuy Nguyen Cafe

Come along for a mouthwatering ride and catch The American Dream City's cultural diversity and unique cuisine with Arlington Eats on MyArlingtonTV.

In this month's edition of Arlington Eats, host Andrew Tanielian visits Thuy Nguyen Cafe, located at 100 W Pioneer Pkwy, Ste 100B, Arlington, TX 76010 in East Arlington.

Huy Nguyen, a longtime Arlington resident, opened the Vietnamese restaurant with his wife in 2017 after spending 20 years as a mechanic.

Some of the more popular dishes at Thuy Nguyen Cafe include bánh bèo, a popular street food in Vietnam made from a combination of rice flour and tapioca flour, as well as the Vermicelli soup with crab, shrimp, snails, tofu and tomatoes.
