Dallas Opera to Present Free Simulcast of ‘Show Boat’ at AT&T Stadium

The Dallas Opera will present a FREE simulcast of Show Boat at AT&T Stadium in Arlington at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23.

Introduce friends and family to the magic of musical theater with this spectacular production. The groundbreaking 1927 masterpiece by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II is set in the 1880s and features well-known tunes, Can 't Help Lovin ' Dat Man, Ol ' Man River and Make Believe.

The simulcast is generously sponsored by The Dallas Foundation.

Show Boat features stellar performers with the power of the operatic voice, a 49-piece orchestra, dozens of chorus members, two dance ensembles, many supporting actors, and innovative sets and costumes. The production will be a live simulcast of the musical being presented at the Winspear Opera House, in the Dallas Arts District. It 's the perfect opportunity to experience a fabulous night of entertainment and the magnificent quality of Dallas Opera presentations.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; simulcast begins at 7:30 p.m.
