Section of Overhill Drive to Close Until January for Abram Street Rebuild Project
Overhill Drive between East Abram Street and Ruth Street will be closed beginning Friday, April 22 and will remain closed at least through January 2017.
This closure is required for the installation of a deep double-box culvert that is included in the 2008 bond-funded Abram Street reconstruction project.
This section of Overhill Drive will remain closed until after construction of a new Abram Street bridge over Johnson Creek and paving of the new lanes of Abram Street and Overhill Drive are complete, according to the Public Works and Transportation Department.
