Grammy-Award Winning Singer B.J. Thomas Finds Happiness in Arlington

B.J. Thomas, a five-time Grammy and two-time Dove Award winner is a proud resident of Arlington: The American Dream City.

Thomas has sold more than 70 million records and is ranked in Billboard's Top 50 most played artists over the past 50 years.

His recording of "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" was recently inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015. The song was originally released in 1969 for the film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and was written by Hal David and Burt Bacharach. It won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Thomas is also known for his other worldwide hits, "Hooked On A Feeling," "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song", "I Just Can't Help Believing", "Most of All", "Don't Worry Baby," "Eyes of a New York Woman", "Whatever Happened To Old Fashioned Love", "Everybody's Out of Town", and many more.

He continues to live out his dream as a singer and performer in venues across the country while residing in Arlington. Thomas says he and his family fell in love with a house in The American Dream City and they continue to find peace and happiness in Arlington.
