Holiday-in-the-Park
Holiday in the Park opens Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington"s Entertainment District.

Six Flags Over Texas" brightest holiday celebration kicks off in The American Dream City on Friday, Nov. 16. At this exclusive seasonal event, you"ll find everything you need to celebrate the most wonderful time of year. Holiday in the Park is available on select dates from Nov. 16 through Dec. 31.

Here are seven incredible features at this year"s event.

View holiday lights - from the top of a coaster!

Sure, you could drive around your neighborhood to see beautiful light displays, but nothing quite beats the view from above. Rise up the staggering lift hill on New Texas Giant or fly to the top of Texas SkyScreamer to see the entire town twinkling at once. It"s the same views Santa gets!

Take a charming walk through Merry Marketplace.

Come and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a hometown holiday while taking a leasurily stroll through Merry Marketplace at Six Flags Over Texas. From a visit to Santa"s Outpost to having a fun encounter with some furry friends at Johnson"s Creek Critter Corral, there"s something for everyone looking to enjoy this magical time of the year. Make sure you capture the moment and either grab a family photo by the vintage fire engine or grab your sweetie and steal a kiss under the Texas sized mistletoe. There"s also plenty of unique and savory seasonal treats that can appeal to every tastebud.

Enjoy a special visit to Santa"s Outpost.

Instead of visiting Santa at your local shopping mall, you"ll get the entire North Pole experience at Six Flags. Enjoy a story or two with Mrs. Claus then make your way through the magical wonderland and visit with the head elf himself, jolly ol" St. Nick in his special workshop. Afterwards, write a special note to leave Santa to make sure your Christmas wish comes true!

Experience the thrill of mountain sledding.

Our Frosty Snow Hill brings a classic winter sport to the park. Hop on a toboggan and enjoy a slippery slide down the slope. This popular frozen adventure uses nearly 1.8 million pounds of ice to create an authentic snowy experience. Glide down to the bottom and bob over unpredictable dips for the ultimate chill thrill.

Marvel at a 60-foot tall Christmas tree.

Our stunning holiday centerpiece is much bigger than the one in your living room. This 60-foot structure is comprised of 70 smaller trees adorned with thousands of lights. The colorful display lights up each night with an extravagant ceremony with Santa, plus dances magically to holiday tunes throughout the evening.

Roast your own s"mores treat.

Our toasty fire pits offer a warm respite to chilly nights. As you heat up your hands, you can make your own sweet treat! Pick up a S"mores kit to roast a marshmallow over the flames and pile it on a graham cracker with melty chocolate.

Sing along to live holiday carols.

The sounds of jingle bells and holiday harmonies are sure to get you in the spirit. Our charming performers create new renditions of classic yules. Enjoy live street carolers, family dance parties, dazzling light displays, and magical toys. You"ll hear traditional holiday music like you've never heard it before.
