City of Arlington - Code Compliance
Mobile Pet Adoption unit - Underwrite the purchase of a specially designed and fully equipped vehicle to showcase and transport animals into the community and participate in special events with a goal of increasing the number of adoptions of the city's sheltered animals. The new unit also makes it possible for the Animal Services Department to bring vaccination and other health services directly to pet owners in local neighborhoods as a way to encourage enhanced pet care and ensure a healthier animal population throughout the city.
