As of January 1, 2024, inspections of all public, semi-public pools, spas, and PIWFs have been transferred from Code Compliance to Health Services.

Public and Semi-Public Swimming Pool permits are now issued and inspected by Health Services.

Permitting and Inspections

Health Services performs plan review, permitting services and inspections for all public, semi-public pools, spas, and public interactive water features (PIWF).

Pool Plan Review

Specifications and plans for remodeled or newly constructed public, semi-public pools, spas, or PIWFs and pool fences must be submitted electronically to Planning and Development Services through www.ArlingtonPermits.com. For more information call 817-459-6502.

Well-trained pool operators are critical for maintaining safe and healthy pools.  Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credentials are required at all public, semi-public pools, spas, or PIWFs.
