Locating Rental Property with Voucher Assistance

The Arlington Housing Authority partners with the Affordable Housing website (formerly known as GoSection8.com) to provide an enhanced program to list rental properties online. Listings are available to view apartment units, duplexes, single-family homes or townhomes in the private market. If you have any questions regarding viewing property listings, please contact Affordable Housing toll-free helpline at 1-866-466-7328 or view their website at http://affordablehousing.com/

Locating Affordable Rental Housing

HUD's affordable apartment search allows you to search by a variety of filters to find affordable housing: http://resources.hud.gov/#. Once you go to this site, click on Find Affordable Housing Opportunities Near Me. You can then search by City/State

The state of Texas also has an affordable housing finder link: http://hrc-ic.tdhca.state.tx.us/hrc/VacancyClearinghouseSearch.m. You can search by city or zip code and narrow down to senior housing only, if you choose. Though the website shows the number of vacancies, it may not be current, because many of these properties have waiting lists.
