Releasing Funds to Landlords - Policy Update

The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) is committed to providing superior customer service to all participating owners and their agents. AHA releases HAP payments on the first business day of each month. While the majority of participants should have access to their funds on the same day, recipients should check their bank's policy regarding the timing of deposits into their accounts. Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions are not transmittable on weekends or holidays. The first business day of each month of 2019 is as follows:

Jan 2, Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 1, May 1, Jun 3, Jul 1, Aug 1, Sep 2, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 2

In addition, AHA will process up to three (3) supplemental check runs during each month as necessary to ensure more timely processing of mid-month payments and prior month corrections.
