This $1.5 million project was funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for neighborhood infrastructure improvements and Water and Sanitary Sewer Bond funds and aligns with City Council’s priorities to Champion Great Neighborhoods and Enhance Regional Mobility. This project, which began in July 2018 and ended in August 2019, consisted of the following improvements:

Rebuilding Belvedere Drive, from South Collins Street to East Mitchell Street, with 7-inch concrete pavement to create a longer lasting and smoother road surface
Stormwater system drainage improvements
Water and sanitary sewer line renewals
Improvements to sidewalks, installation of ADA compliant ramps, and replacing streetlights for a friendlier and more inviting environment for pedestrians
