Animal Services will be closed Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of Good Friday. Staff will be onsite to care for animals in the shelter. The center will reopen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8.

Arlington Animal Services is closed during all City holidays. For emergencies while the Animal Services Center is closed, please call 911.

Receiving Animals

• Lost animal drop-off are accepted by appointment ONLY at this time and until further notice.  
• Animals transferred to approved Adoptions Placement Partners will be handled outside of the facility in the open air.
• Owner-surrendered animals are by appointment ONLY. Please email [email protected] and an Animal Services team member will respond as soon as possible.
