 Beginning July 6, 2020:

  • Animal Services Staff will respond to emergency calls only until further notice. This includes calls regarding animal bites to humans, aggressive animals and sick or injured animals.
  • Anyone finding an injured animal in Arlington can reach out for assistance at 817-575-8129, 817-575-8128, or 817-575-8127, and 911 during after-hours.
  • We will continue to pick-up deceased animals as they pose a health and sanitation issue for the public.

  • Aggressive Animals
  • Stray Animals
  • Animal Cruelty
  • Animal Bites
  • Public Education Programs
  • Rescue and First Aid to Injured Animals
  • Nuisances
  • Wildlife / Exotic Animals
  • Loose Livestock
  • Deceased Animal Pickup

The Animal Services Center is dedicated to providing the community with responsive action to complaints received. Citizens can help with the enforcement process by providing signed, notarized affidavits in cases of animal nuisances, neglect and more.

We respond to calls based upon the priority and severity of the call. For emergencies when the Animal Services Center is closed, please call 9-1-1.
