A Note from the Parks & Recreation Director

The first day of spring is March 21. It is a good time to explore the facilities and programs of the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. Reserve a Saturday afternoon for a family outing at a neighborhood park. Ride along a bike trail in River Legacy Parks. Set aside some free time to volunteer as a Park Partner. Don’t know where to start? Visit your local recreation center and pick up the Spring issue of the Arlington Funtimes Magazine for a schedule of programs and activities or visit our Web site for the latest information about park developments and events. This spring, rediscover the recreational amenities and benefits of your Parks and Recreation Department.
