Pleasant Ridge Road Project, Road Closure Notification
Due to the construction phasing of the Pleasant Ridge Road project (Kelly Elliott Road to Bowen Road ), Fort Hunt Drive at Park Springs Boulevard and Flower Garden Drive at Pleasant Ridge Road will be closed for approximately 2 months beginning Monday, June 22, 2009. During this time the northbound lanes of Park Springs Boulevard from Pleasant Ridge Road to IH-20 will be constructed and the westbound lanes of Pleasant Ridge Road from the bridge to Park Springs Boulevard will be constructed. Local traffic for Fort Hunt Drive will be detoured to Glen Springs Drive and local traffic for Flower Garden Drive will be detoured to Kelly Perkins Road as shown on the attached map.

Collins Street Lane Closures
As a result of the Arkansas Lane Rebuild project ST 05-07, BOTH the Northbound and Southbound lanes of Collins Street from Southmoor Ave. (North of Pioneer Pkwy.) to Grants Pkwy. (South of Arkansas Ln.) will be reduced to ONE lane in each direction for approximately 8 weeks in order to install a 30" water line and completely rebuild the intersection with new paving. The lane closures will occur beginning April 8, 2009.

Pleasant Ridge Road Construction Update
Pleasant Ridge Road from Kelly Elliott Road and Bowen Road is being widened to a
4-lane divided boulevard. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by January 2010.

Chapel Drive from Division Street to Sanford Street (access is available to Arlington Funeral Home)

Notification for Temporary Closing of Minor Streets and Arterial Lane Closures
The reconstruction and widening of Green Oaks Blvd. (Ballpark Way to S.H.360) is scheduled to begin September 2, 2008, and is expected to last approximately 15 months. Phase 1 will involve constructing the south side of the roadway; which involves diverting traffic to the north side of the roadway. Green Oaks Blvd. will be reduced to one-lane in each direction. In addition, during Phase 1, the following streets will be closed and will not have access to Green Oaks Blvd.

  1. Burney Rd.
  2. Burney Place
