When will my street marker sign be replaced to the new standard?

We are mandated to have all 6-inch lettering street marker signs replaced to the 9-inch lettering by 2012. We have a replacement program on-going in order to make this deadline.

Why are some sign posts square and some round?

The square posts are the industry standard.  Whenever possible, we replace the old round posts with the new square ones.

In Arlington, why are some street marker signs blue and others white?

The blue signs are on City owned and maintained streets while the white signs are on privately owned and maintained streets.
