SECTOR PLANNING

The Sector-Based Comprehensive Planning Process

Focusing on one area of the city at a time, the City of Arlington has produced a community-based comprehensive plan for the city. This planning approach, referred to as sector planning, reflects the diversity that exists in the different areas of the city. Six sectors have been identified in the city (see map).

Each Sector Plan is the result of extensive research and discussion by citizens, community leaders, community organizations and city staff. For more information on the sector plans please contact us at 817-459-6652.

Sector plans are available by visiting the Planning Department's Development Services Desk or by contacting them at 817-459-6526. The hard copy cost is $20.00, plus $2.75 shipping fee if mailed, or the Sector Planning CD is available for $5.00 plus a $1 shipping fee if mailed.
