SECTOR
PLANNING
The
Sector-Based Comprehensive Planning Process
Focusing
on one area of the city at a time, the City of Arlington has produced a
community-based comprehensive plan for the city. This planning
approach, referred to as sector planning, reflects the
diversity that exists in the different areas of the city. Six sectors
have been identified in the city (see map).
Each Sector Plan is the result of
extensive research and discussion by citizens, community leaders,
community organizations and city staff.
