• Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) - Provides funding for public services, economic development, public facility improvements, code enforcement, and other revitalization activities in the target area (see link to map below)
   
• HOME Investment Partnership Act Program (HOME) - Provides affordable housing opportunities for Arlington residents, including first time homebuyers’ assistance and the housing repair program for low/moderate-income homeowners.
   
• Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG) - Provides funding for homeless prevention, essential services for homeless persons, and support for homeless shelter operations.

• Brownfields Grant Program - The City of Arlington has been awarded $400,000 in grant money from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conduct communitywide Brownfields site assessments.  As defined by the EPA, a Brownfield is "real property, the expansion, redevelopment or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant."
