CITY OF ARLINGTON CENSUS 2000 :: SUPPLEMENTARY SURVEY

Census 2000 Supplementary Survey LogoIn May, 2002, the Census Bureau released the Census 2000 Supplementary Survey (C2SS) information. The Census 2000 Supplementary Survey is a Decennial Census program designed to demonstrate the feasibility of collecting long form type information at the same time as, but separate from, the Decennial Census. It used the questionnaire and methods developed for the American Community Survey to collect demographic, social, economic, and housing data from a national sample of 700,000 households. To read more about the Census 2000 Supplementary Survey and how to use this data, visit the U.S. Census Bureau C2SS web-site. The results for the city of Arlington are listed in four tables:

TABLE 1. PROFILE OF GENERAL DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS

TABLE 2. PROFILE OF SELECTED SOCIAL CHARACTERISTICS

TABLE 3. PROFILE OF SELECTED ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS

TABLE 4. PROFILE OF SELECTED HOUSING CHARACTERISTICS
