BIKE SAFETY CLASSES
The City of Arlington is
providing free bike safety classes for its residents.
Participants must complete the registration form below and an online
training course prior to each adult class.
Residents may choose from one of the following classes for ages
16+ (ages 13-15 permitted with parent present). Please note these classes will be conducted at City Hall, 101 W. Abram St:

Saturday, Nov. 3:
9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Registration deadline:
Oct. 27)

Saturday, Nov. 17:
9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Registration deadline:
Nov. 10)
Kids can take the course
at EcoFest between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m
on Saturday, Sept 22. The class will be come and
go - no registration or online class is required. All ages are welcome.
Torrance Strong, a League of
American Bicyclists certified instructor, will teach the classes.
Participants will learn bike skills and practice riding in traffic.

Ages (adult classes): Age 16 and up.
Teens ages 13-15 are allowed if a parent is present.

Required equipment:
bike, helmet, water bottle, patch kit

Lunch: Residents who
participate in the adult classes need to bring money for lunch.

Required skill level: Comfortable
properly operating a bicycle for 30 minutes and be willing to
ride on city street, with guidance from the instructor.
