Growing in popularity, Adventure Racing is an event that focuses on a team win rather than an individual accomplishment. Races can vary from 2 to 5 person teams with some events also offering solo categories. Disciplines vary from race to race. Participants may find themselves participating in mountain biking, orienteering, a mystery event, mind teasers or canoeing. 2007 will be the first year Arlington, TX will host an Adventure Race.
