2002 City of Arlington Celebrates Arbor Day
Join us at Earth Fest for an Arbor Day tree planting ceremony honoring
the victims of September 11th.
Saturday, April 20th at 12:00 noon
Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Center-7001 Golf Club Drive
Two Red Oak trees will be planted.
Guests include: Mayor Elzie Odom, Texas Forest Service, the
Arlington Police Department and the Arlington Fire Department
Two awards will also be presented to the City of Arlington during
the ceremony: Tree City USA and Tree City Growth.
