March 25, 2011 Town Hall Meetings to Focus on City’s
Proposed Hike and Bike Master Plan
At two upcoming town hall meetings, Arlington residents
have opportunities to learn details and offer input about
the proposed Hike and Bike Master Plan, which is under
consideration by the City Council.
As part of the city’s Thoroughfare Development Plan, this
master plan is being developed to guide development of
off-street trails and on-street facilities for hiking and
biking within the city limits of Arlington. The plan
includes recommendations for sidewalks, intersection
improvements, programs and policy development.
The public can view an informational brochure and read the
proposed Hike and Bike Master Plan at
