When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2
Where: Animal Services Center, 1000 S.E. Green Oaks Blvd.
Why: Fundraiser to benefit the Animal Services Center
About the Event
Free event includes animal and owner look-a-like contest
and best dressed pet, best trick and ugliest dog
competitions from noon to 1:30 p.m. Also includes a
celebrity dog wash, dancing dogs, the Dallas Dog and Disc
Club, free presentations on pet care and protection from
aggressive animals along with bounce houses for children,
hundreds of adoptable animals and more. Low-cost licenses,
rabies vaccinations and microchip services also available.
“This is a celebration of Arlington’s pets,” said Animal
Services Manager Jay Sabatucci. “We want the community to
come to their Animal Shelter.”
Funds from this event will be used to purchase food,
supplies and equipment for the care and housing of animals
at the center.
