Why: To award grants to charitable organizations and city programs to enhance the quality of life in Arlington today and for future generations. Approximately $500,000 will be awarded this fall.

Background
The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation was established by the Arlington City Council in 2007 to benefit the people of Arlington.

Whether addressing the needs of at-risk youth and families, ensuring quality parks and recreational programming, supporting libraries, local arts or caring for the city’s animal populations, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is dedicated to a broad range of community causes that enhance quality of life. To date, more than $3.6 million in grants have been.
