The Arlington Public Library will host a free workshop on
grantseeking basics for nonprofit organizations. If you work
with a non-profit organization and want to learn about
obtaining grants, this workshop will provide you with:
- An overview of the funding research process for
those seeking grants from foundations, corporations, and
grant making public charities
- Tips on how best to identify funding sources, using
the free electronic and print resources available at the
George W. Hawkes Central Library
- Demonstration of the Foundation Directory Online,
the Foundation Center’s top-tier searchable database
providing information on more than 91,000 grant makers
and more than a million grant records.
