about the City of Arlington proposed operating budget for
fiscal year 2010. The proposed budget document can be viewed
and downloaded at

Background
The City of Arlington is working to balance its operating
budget for Fiscal Year 2010. The proposed spending plan is
under review as city leaders look for ways to trim $13
million. Like other cities, Arlington is seeing declining
sales tax revenue and property values, and higher
unemployment and foreclosure rates.
Arlington City Council Work Sessions are broadcast live on
