Independence Day Closings and City Service Schedules

The Arlington Municipal Building, City Tower and many City of Arlington offices will be closed for Independence Day on Friday, July 3. Other holiday closings will occur on July 4.

 Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Offices
 Handitran Office and Handitran special transportation services
 Senior Recreation Centers

 Elzie Odom Recreation Center
 Hugh Smith Recreation Center - Closes at 6 p.m.
 Hugh Smith Indoor Pool - Closes at 6 p.m.
 Cliff Nelson Recreation Center - Closes at 6 p.m.
 Dottie Lynn Recreation Center - Closes at 6 p.m.
 Meadowbrook Recreation Center - Closes at 6 p.m.
 Arlington Tennis Center
 All municipal golf courses
 George W. Hawkes Central Library - Closes early at 5 p.m.
 All Public Library Branches
 All municipal outdoor swimming pools
 Garbage and recycling pickups will occur as scheduled
