Two Family Water Parks Open Memorial Day Weekend in
Arlington
The Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center and the Randol
Mill Family Aquatic Center will open at noon Saturday, May
23, to kick off the Memorial Day weekend. The Bad
Königshofen Family Aquatic Center is located at 2800 S.
Sublett Road. The Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center is
located at 1934 W. Randol Mill Road.
Located in southwest Arlington, the Bad Königshofen Family
Aquatic Center is a great value for the entire family. The
center features an interactive spray pad and shallow water
play pool, lap pool, diving area and two water slides.
Concessions, storage lockers, shower facilities and deck
furniture are available on site. The shade pavilion can be
rented for parties during most regular swim hours.
The Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center features a shallow
water play structure, vortex pool, current channel,
waterslide and tot and leisure areas. Concessions, shower
facilities and deck furniture are available. Two shade
pavilions located at the pool can be rented for parties.
“The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department wants
residents to get out their swimsuits, goggles, sunscreen and
head out to enjoy Memorial Day at a cool, city water park,”
said Marketing Manager Kelly Drawdy.
Passport holders can earn a stamp by visiting any city water
park or swimming pool.
Admission fees at water parks are $5.50 for persons 48
inches and above, $5 for persons under 48 inches. Children
12 months and younger are admitted free.
Arlington’s four additional outdoor swimming pools will open
