Budget

Why: To facilitate community discussions and gather
public input about the economy and strategies for balancing
the city’s operating budget for the next fiscal year, which
begins Oct. 1, 2009.
During the meetings, City Manager Jim Holgersson will
address City Council priorities for Arlington. The
priorities are neighborhoods, economic development, customer
service, youth, seniors, families, capital investment,
regionalism and fiscal stewardship. The agenda also includes
a question and answer session.
Budget Town Hall Meeting Times, Dates and Locations:
- 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, in the Council Chamber
located at City Hall, 101 W. Abram St.
- 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, in the Community
Room at the South Police Service Center, 1030 SW Green
Oaks Blvd.
- 6 p.m. Monday, May 18, in the cafeteria at
Ellis Elementary School located at 2601 Shadow Ridge
Drive
