I-30 Milestone Celebrated Monday

WHERE: Interstate 30 in Arlington (on the Center Street Bridge)

WHEN: Monday, March 23, 11:30 a.m.

WHAT: A press conference will be held by local officials to celebrate a major milestone for the I-30 project. In just over a year, motorists are now driving on the new I-30 eastbound main lanes, the new east and westbound frontage roads, the new Center Street bridge and a portion of the Baird Farm Road/Legends Way bridge.

Speaking at the event will include: Congressman Joe Barton, State Representative Diane Patrick, Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley, Tarrant County Commissioner Marti VanRavenswaay, Arlington Mayor Dr. Robert Cluck and Texas Transportation Commissioner Bill Meadows.

Media and officials will get to view the I-30 project improvements from the new Center Street bridge. Information will also be provided on additional I-30 access and Arlington Entertainment District street improvements.
