New Year’s Holiday Closings

The Arlington Municipal Building, City Tower and many City of Arlington administrative offices will be closed for the New Year’s on Thursday, Jan. 1. Regular hours will resume at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2.

What’s Closed Thursday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)

 City Tower
 Arlington Municipal Court
 Animal Service Center
 Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Office
 Lake Arlington Operations
 George W. Hawkes Central Library and all branch libraries
 Handitran Administrative Office and special public transportation services
 All municipal recreation centers
 Hugh Smith Indoor Pool
 Arlington Tennis Center
 Garbage and recycling pickups will not occur in Arlington

What’s Open Thursday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)
