City to Dedicate New Fountain on Wednesday October 8

Who: City of Arlington, Junior League of America and Arlington Parks and Recreation Department

What: To dedicate new fountain

When: 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8

Where: Founders Plaza located at 100 W. Abram St. in downtown Arlington

Why: To celebrate the completion of a new interactive water feature for youth

About the Fountain
In observance of the Junior League’s 25th anniversary, the organization contributed $100,000 to fund the Fountain in Founders’ Plaza. The Junior League also received $50,000 from the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation. The fountain is located in Founders’ Plaza.

Wednesday’s dedication will include Mayor Robert Cluck, City of Arlington officials and representatives from Junior League and Friends of the Levitt Pavilion. The dedication is open to the public and leads to the October 10 grand opening of the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.
