Nov. 4 Ballot Includes $140.8 Million Bond Package for Citywide Improvements
Early Voting Begins Oct. 20


In addition to the presidential election, Arlington voters are being asked to authorize $140.8 million in improvements for parks, streets, traffic, drainage, libraries and fire services on Nov. 4. There are five propositions on the ballot. Early voting begins at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20 and ends Oct. 30. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
A summary of project descriptions is available on the City of Arlington web site at www.arlingtontx.gov/citysecretary. A Voter Information Guide to the 2008 Bond Program is also available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. Download it from the City’s web site or visit any Arlington Public Library. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, Oct. 20-24
7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26
7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Friday, Oct. 27-Oct. 31
