Weekend Events Cancelled Due to Expected Inclement Weather
Naturally Fun Neighborhoods Cancelled, Trinity Trash Bash Postponed

Due to inclement weather expected from Hurricane Ike, the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department has cancelled two weekend events.

The Naturally Fun Neighborhood event planned for this Saturday from 10am to noon at Don Misenhimer Park has been cancelled. The next scheduled Naturally Fun event is Sunday, September 21 at Vandergriff Park from noon – 2pm. Also, the Trinity Trash Bash planned for this weekend has been postponed. It was scheduled to be held at three Arlington locations; River Legacy Park, Cravens Park and Don Misenhimer Park, as well as several locations throughout the Metroplex.
