I- 30 traffic to be detoured
NB Collins Street bridge to be demolished
Alternate routes are encouraged

WHERE: Interstate 30 east and westbound at the Collins Street bridge in Arlington

WHEN: 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10

WHAT: East and westbound I-30 will be reduced to one lane and detoured at Collins Street for bridge demolition. Eastbound motorists will be detoured to Copeland Road and back on I-30 east of Ballpark Way. Westbound traffic will be detoured from I-30 onto the Collins Street exit ramp and then on to the westbound I-30 entrance ramp.

Collins Street-- Thursday, Aug. 7 at approximately 11 p.m. - northbound motorists on the Collins Street bridge will be shifted to the southbound bridge to accommodate the demolition Friday. The Collins Street bridge will reopen at approximately 6 a.m. for daytime traffic, then close for the weekend beginning at 7 p.m. Friday. Once traffic is shifted, motorists will have two lanes in both the north and southbound direction and one turning lane during the Collins Street reconstruction.
