Asian American Business EXPO in Arlington is August 13

Who: City of Arlington

What: To host Seventh Annual Asian American Business EXPO

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13

Where: Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way

Why: To bring together Asian American suppliers, government agencies and major corporations under one roof for business matching opportunities. Participants will explore opportunities for making the DFW Metroplex a vibrant economic hub for Asian American businesses.

Champion Arlington and the City of Arlington Office of Economic Development are community partners and exhibitors.

About the Luncheon Keynote speaker:
Texas Health Resources CEO Doug Hawthorne will deliver the keynote address during the Awards Luncheon, which begins at noon. Hawthorne has received numerous healthcare honors, including the Earl M. Collier Award for Distinguished Hospital Administration. In 2003, Modern Healthcare Magazine listed Hawthorne on its list of the 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare. Hawthorne has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
