City of Arlington Studies Spending Plan for Fiscal Year 2009
Annual Budget Process is Under Way
Arlington City Manager Jim Holgersson presented a $198 million
proposed spending plan to the City Council during the Afternoon Work
Session on August 5.
Budget presentations and deliberations will continue August 12 and
August 19 during special Afternoon Work Sessions in the Council
Briefing Room.

Throughout August and September, a series of town hall meetings
and public hearings will provide residents with opportunities to
give input and help prioritize city expenditures for FY 2009. The
new fiscal year begins October 1. See budget calendar below:
