Arlington City Council Runoff Election is June 14
Early Voting Begins June 2
The Arlington City Council runoff election for At-Large Districts
6 and 7 is Saturday, June 14. Early voting begins June 2 and ends
June 10.
Candidates for the council seat in At-Large District 6 are Robert
Shepard and Vera McKissic. Candidates for At-Large District 7 are
Michael Glaspie and Jimmy Bennett.
Registered Arlington voters can cast ballots during the runoff at
any early voting polling location in Arlington or Tarrant County.

Looking Ahead
Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Sheri Capehart and District 1 City
Council member Mel LeBlanc will be administered the oath of office
and sworn in during the 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting of the Arlington
City Council on Tuesday, May 27.
On Election Day on May 10, voters returned Capehart to her
District 2 seat for a fifth term. LeBlanc was unopposed in his bid
for a second term.
The City Council will officially canvass or certify the votes
from the June 14 Runoff during the Arlington City Council 6:30 p.m.
Regular Meeting on Tuesday, June 24. The oath of office for the new
council members will follow.
