PRESS RELEASES - February 2008
February
14, 2008
Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is Monday, Feb. 18
Appointments are Required!
Who: City of Arlington and the Texas Coalition for Animal
Protection
What: To sponsor the Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, February 18
Where: Arlington Animal Services, 5920 W. Pioneer Pkwy.
Arlington, TX 76013
Why: Nationwide, more than 3 million animals are euthanized
in shelters. Homeless animals are euthanized because there are more
dogs and cats entering shelters than there are people willing to
provide them with loving homes. Spaying or neutering your pet means
that your animal won’t contribute to the population of unwanted
animals.
Spay/Neuter Clinic will also offer low cost animal vaccinations.
Please note: Appointment is required. All animals scheduled for spay
or neuter surgery are required to have written proof of a current
rabies vaccine or receive the vaccine at the time of surgery by
paying $5.
The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection is a nonprofit
organization that serves to increase public awareness and
understanding of issues affecting animal welfare. Learn more about
