Foundation Distributes $525,000 in Community Grants
Feb. 8 Reception to Celebrate Recipients

Who: Arlington Tomorrow Foundation

What: Grant Honoree Reception

When: 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8

Where: River Legacy Living Science Center, 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd

Why: To recognize honorees who will be receiving Arlington Tomorrow Foundation grants during the first cycle of the grant process. More than $525,000 in grants will be distributed. Friday’s reception is for honorees and their guests. The media is invited to attend.

Listing of Grant Honorees
The honorees are: Arlington Quilters Guild, Friends of the Levitt Pavilion, Arlington Symphony Orchestra, City of Arlington Public Works Department, City of Arlington Environmental Services Department, Green Arlington Foundation, Arlington Conservation Council, Mission Metroplex, A Wish With Wings, Inc., City of Arlington Public Library System, Arlington Veterans Park Foundation, Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, Junior League of Arlington, River Legacy Foundation, Arlington Police Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Arlington, Camp Fire USA, First Tee of Arlington, Clarence Clay Junior Golf Foundation, Girls, Incorporated of Tarrant County, Grace Presbyterian Church, HOPE Tutoring, Recovery Resource Council and YMCA of Arlington.

About the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation
The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation was incorporated by the State of Texas in 2007 to oversee an endowment fund created from natural gas revenue realized on city-owned property. Ninety percent of gas well lease bonus earnings and 50 percent of all royalties earned from the wells go into a permanent endowment fund. The interest earnings from this fund are distributed through community grants.
