City Attorney is Elected President of Texas City Attorneys
Association
City Attorney Jay Doegey is the new president of the Texas City
Attorneys Association.
TCAA is an affiliate of the Texas Municipal League and was formed
to promote and advance the professional development of municipal
attorneys across the state of Texas.
Doegey has been with the City of Arlington for 21 years and has
been a member of TCAA since 1999, recently serving as vice
president. He will preside over an organization made up of 400
attorneys. TCAA was organized in 1928 to meet the specific needs and
concerns of local attorneys. Today it represents some 98 percent of
the Texas urban population through its 1,080 cities.
