Construction on the New Extension of Road to Six Flags Begins Nov. 19
Motorists Should Expect Lane Closures through March 2008

Who: City of Arlington and Glorypark developer, Steiner Associates

What: To begin the new construction of Road to Six Flags

When: Monday, November 19

Where: From Nolan Ryan Expressway to Ballpark Way

Why: To improve east and west travel through the city’s Entertainment District, which includes the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Six Flags Over Texas, Convention Center and the new Cowboys Stadium.

The contractor is Austin Bridge and Road.

The new Road to Six Flags will have four lanes in each direction. Motorists should expect lane closures in this area through March 31, 2008. Alternate east and westbound routes include Copeland Road, Randol Mill Road and Division Street.

Please note: Nola Ryan Expressway from Baird Farm Road to Randol Mill Road will be closed.
