Arlington Warrant Roundup Begins November 5
Enforcement Efforts to Also Focus on Zip Codes


Who: City of Arlington

What: Warrant Roundup 2007

When: November 5 - December 9

Where: Within the city limits of Arlington

Why: Arlington has an estimated 37,000 outstanding warrants

“We want the public to understand that there is a better way and it is not too late to avoid jail time,” said Municipal Court Director David Preciado. “Failure to appear before the court is a violation of the law. We encourage residents with outstanding warrants to contact Municipal Court, take care of warrants and avoid arrest.”

Public Notices
On November 11 and November 25, the City of Arlington will publish the names of individuals with outstanding warrants in the Arlington edition of the Star-Telegram. Names will also be posted on the City of Arlington website at www.ArlingtonTX.gov. Warrant Roundup Information can also be found on the City’s cable channel. Enforcement efforts will focus on the following zip codes.

76012 (Nov 5-11)
76018 (Nov. 12-18)
76017 (Nov. 26 - Dec. 3)
76014 (Dec. 3-9)

How to pay a citation:
Arlington Municipal Court is located at 201 E. Abram St. in downtown Arlington. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday. Individuals may also visit any authorized payment location. Locations are listed at www.arlingtontx.gov/municipalcourt.

Payment can also be sent by mail to: Arlington Municipal Court, P.O. Box 90403, Mail Stop 63-0100, Arlington, Texas 76004-3403. If the citation is not in warrant status, payment can be made by cash, cashier’s check, money order or personal check. If there is an active arrest warrant, only cash, a cashier’s check or money order will be accepted. A drop box for after-hour deposits is located at the Ott Cribbs Public Safety Building, 620 W. Division St.
