Arlington Tomorrow Foundation Grant Process Underway
Grant training workshops available
Who: The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation
What: A grant training workshop and community meeting for nonprofit
organizations
interested in applying for grants.
Organizations must be Arlington-based, address particular needs of
the city, and have a service population made up of a significant
majority of Arlington residents. A list of criteria, project areas,
maximum award levels and application time table are available at
www.arlingtonfoundation.org.
When: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11
Where: Council Briefing Room on third floor at City Hall, 101 W.
Abram St.
Why: To share information about the grant application process. The
foundation awards
grants from an endowment fund created from natural gas revenues
realized on
City-owned property. Interest earned from this fund are distributed
through
community grants to help improve the quality of life in Arlington.
