Labor Day Closings and City Service Schedules

The Arlington Municipal Building, Municipal Office Tower and many City of Arlington offices will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 3. Regular service hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 4.

What’s Closed on Labor Day – Monday, Sept. 3

 The Arlington Municipal Building (City Hall)
 The Municipal Office Tower
 Arlington Municipal Court
 Arlington Animal Services Center
 George W. Hawkes Central Library and all branch libraries
    Please note: All public libraries will be closed Sunday, Sept. 2.
 Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Office
 Hugh Smith Recreation Center
 Handitran Office and Handitran special transportation services
 Senior Recreation Centers
 Hugh Smith Indoor Pool
 There will be no garbage or recycling pickups in the city
