Crime Control and Prevention District Temporary Board of Directors to Host Aug. 27 Public Hearing

What: Public input on proposed Arlington Crime Control and Prevention District

When: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27

Where: Parks and Recreation Department – Board Room at 717 W. Main St.

Why: To gather public input about crime control and prevention in Arlington, which could include the formation of an Arlington Crime Control Prevention District, a two-year control plan, budget and the adoption of a local sales and use tax at the rate of one-eighth of one percent if approved by Arlington voters.
