City Council to Host Aug. 28 Public Hearing on Proposed Crime Tax

What: Public input on crime control and prevention in Arlington

When: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28

Where: Arlington Municipal Building - Council Chamber, 101 W. Abram St.

Why: To gather public input about crime control and prevention in Arlington, which could include the formation of an Arlington Crime Control Prevention District, a two-year control plan, budget and the adoption of a local sales and use tax at the rate of one-eighth of one percent if approved by Arlington voters.
