Chesapeake Energy donates $10,000 for The Studio: teen arts
underground
Chesapeake Energy Corporation of Fort Worth has given $10,000 to
the Arlington Public Library Foundation in support of The Studio:
teen arts underground.
The Studio is a center for teens located on the lower level of
George W. Hawkes Central Library at 101 E. Abram St. that integrates
information, technology, and creativity to help teens excel in their
everyday school work, as well as supporting the development of their
creative skills.
The overall mission of The Studio is to empower Arlington youth age
13 to 18 to apply technology in all forms of creative communication,
said Library Marketing and Development Coordinator Andi Davis.
“Chesapeake Energy appreciates opportunities to make positive
impacts on the communities in which we live and work,” said
Chesapeake Energy Corporation Community Relations Coordinator
Heather Snider.
