Independence Day Closings and City Service Schedules

The Arlington Municipal Building, Municipal Office Tower and many City of Arlington offices will be closed for Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4. Regular service hours will resume Thursday, July 5.

 George W. Hawkes Central Library and all branch libraries
 Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Office
 Handitran Office and Handitran special transportation services
 Bob Duncan Center
 Senior Recreation Centers
 Dottie Lynn Recreation Center - Closes early at Noon
 Meadowbrook Recreation Center - Closes early at Noon
 Hugh Smith Recreation Center
 Hugh Smith Indoor Pool
 Arlington Tennis Center - Closes early at Noon
 Cliff Nelson Recreation Center - Closes early at Noon
 Elzie Odom Recreation Center - Closes early at Noon
 No garbage or recycling pickups will occur
